West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams earned several All-Mountain East Conference (MEC) honors following the 2025 conference championships.
Sprinter Hunter Patterson was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Year after earning First Team All-MEC in the 100-meter dash and Second Team All-MEC in the 200-meter dash, marking one of the strongest performances of the meet.
In the throws, Isaac Tavo was recognized on the First Team for the Shot Put and on the Second Team for the Discus Throw, contributing key points in both events.
Jamal Mounchivedi earned First Team honors in the High Jump, while Talan Ramsay received Honorable Mention in the Long Jump. On the track, Francis Toohey was named Honorable Mention in the 800 meters.
West Liberty's men's 4x100-meter relay team also received Honorable Mention recognition.
On the women's side, Ky'Ara Ross earned First Team All-MEC in the Long Jump, and Pam Kandrach received Honorable Mention in the Discus Throw. The women's 4x100 relay team also earned Honorable Mention.
