West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's and women's track and field teams put together a strong showing at the Slippery Rock University John Papa Invitational, highlighted by several standout performances, two new school records and several podium finishes.
Women's Highlights
The Hilltoppers finished fifth overall with 55.60 team points, fueled by impressive efforts across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws.

Brookelyn Reynolds led the way with a first-place finish and a new school record in the 400-meter dash, clocking in at 58.30 seconds.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Kaylee Davis, Ky'Ara Ross, Brookelyn Reynolds, and Sierra Lanham claimed second place with a time of 48.27.

Sierra Lanham sprinted to a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter dash (12.37), while Ky'Ara Ross jumped to second in the long jump (5.71m).

Pam Kandrach earned a spot on the podium in the discus, finishing third with a throw of 42.21m.

Additional top-eight finishes included Marissa Scott in the 100m hurdles (4th, 15.06), Madelyn Cisar set a new school record in the 400m hurdles (3rd, 1:08.62), and Morgan Lesnansky in the 5000m (6th, 19:31.17).

Men's Highlights
The men's team totaled 46 points to secure a sixth-place team finish, led by Hunter Patterson, who delivered two first-place finishes in dominant fashion.

Patterson blazed to victory in both the 100-meter dash (10.41) and 200-meter dash (21.15), solidifying his place among the top sprinters in the region.

Francis Toohey added valuable points in the middle-distance races, placing third in the 800m (1:57.86) and sixth in the 1500m (4:03.53).
