West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University men and women throwers dominated Sunday at the Bison Classic that was hosted by Bethany College at the West Family Athletic Complex. 

The Hilltoppers were led by standout performances from sophomore Mason Fraley and freshman Pamela Kandrach

Men's Highlights

• Mason Fraley swept three event titles, winning the Discus (39.07m), Hammer (42.46m), and Javelin (40.20m, PR), while also finishing second in Shot Put (12.73m) to earn a massive 30 individual points.
   

• Izack Messer also had a standout meet, grabbing first in Shot Put (13.40m) and runner-up in both Discus (34.68m) and Hammer (39.60m), totaling 18 points.
   

• Other point-scorers included:
   

  • Aidan Horan (4th Discus)
     

  • Cody Bolyard and Gavin Knisley in Hammer
     

  • Jacob Taylor (4th Javelin, PR in Discus)
     

• Personal records were set by Jacob Taylor and Malachi Stewart in the Discus and Fraley in Javelin.
   

Women's Highlights

• Sierra Davis and Pamela Kandrach went 1-2 in the Discus, with Davis taking the top spot at 40.35m.
   

• Kandrach claimed her first collegiate victory in Shot Put (11.79m) and added a 4th place finish in Hammer (41.90m), racking up 16 points on the day.
   

• Davis added a 5th place Hammer (40.54m) finish and a runner-up mark in Shot Put, giving her 15 total points.
   

• Brooklyn Lucas secured 2nd in Javelin (30.96m) and 3rd in Shot Put (PR, 11.14m) for 10 points.
