Alliance, Ohio - West Liberty University Track & Field delivered standout performances at the Mount Union Homon Invitational, with multiple athletes finishing in the top ranks and making a statement on both the track and in the field events.
On the men's side, Hunter Patterson blazed his way to first-place finishes in both the 100m and 200m dashes, clocking a swift 10.45 seconds in the 200m. Patterson continues to establish himself as one of the premier sprinters in the region.
In field events, Jamal Mounchivedi cleared 1.93 meters in the high jump to take 5th place, while teammate George Donovic followed close behind in 6th place at 1.88 meters. In the pole vault, Reese Burnside reached a height of 4.30 meters, securing 8th place. Andrew King rounded out the men's results with a 5th place finish in the triple jump, leaping 12.23 meters.
The women's team also had a strong showing. Ky'Ara Ross was a key contributor, finishing 2nd in the 100m dash (12.28), 7th in the 200m (25.80), and 2nd in the long jump with a leap of 5.57 meters. Teammate Sierra Lanham joined her in the top ranks of the 100m (7th, 12.72) and took 3rd in the long jump with a mark of 5.43 meters.
In the 400m dash, Brookelyn Reynolds earned a 6th place finish with a time of 59.15 seconds, while Lacey Dimit battled in the 800m, finishing 9th in 2:27.07. Hailey Harris placed 5th in the high jump (1.52m), and Ava Hoffman recorded a 7th place finish in the triple jump at 9.76 meters.
