West Liberty, W.Va. West Liberty University's men's and women's track teams delivered strong performances while hosting the Tim Weaver Invitational at the West Family Athletic Complex. Several Hilltoppers set new personal bests and earned top finishes across various events, highlighted by Ky'Ara Ross in the long jump, leaping 6.13m for first place and a new school record and the DII #3 ranking for the season.
Men's Highlights:

Sprint Events: Freshman Tristin Ohler finished fifth in the 100m dash with a personal-best time of 11.24 seconds. And eighth in the 200m with a personal-best of 22.56.Â

Middle & Long-Distance: Francis Toohey dominated the 800m (1:55.48) and 1500m (4:00.33), securing first place in both events with a personal record in the latter. Jasper Brown and Robert Allen placed second and third in the 10,000m, respectively.

Hurdles & Decathlon: George Donovic placed fourth in the 110m hurdles (15.33) and seventh in the 400m hurdles (1:00.01). Malachi Stewart and Jacob Taylor competed in the decathlon, showing solid efforts in multiple events.

Jumps: Talan Ramsay placed fifth in the long jump (6.61m), while George Donovic cleared 1.93m in the high jump for a runner-up finish, marking a new DII #51 ranking.

Throws: Freshman Issac Tavo led the way in the discus, winning with a throw of 46.79m and fourth in the shot put with a season best throw of 14.87. Izack Messer was ninth 13.69m. Â
Women's Highlights:

Sprints & Hurdles: Freshman Kaylee Davis clocked a personal-best 13.29 in the 100m and 27.44 in the 200m. Marissa Scott won the 100m hurdles in 15.76, with Sophie Abraham and Kiara Kesner following in third and fifth place.

Mid-Distance & Distance: Brookelyn Reynolds claimed third in the 400m (59.19), while Morgan Lesnansky took first in the 10,000m with a PR of 40:30.41. Ally Hicks also set a PR in the 3000m steeplechase (12:36.44).

Jumps: Ky'Ara Ross had a standout performance in the long jump, leaping 6.13m for first place and a new DII #3 ranking, while Sierra Lanham followed in third (5.69m). Hailey Harris placed third in the high jump at 1.52m.

Throws: Sierra Davis won the discus with a top throw of 40.20m, Pam Kandrach was fourth at 37.25m. Haley Norris placed seventh in the hammer throw (43.42m), while Pamela Kandrach placed fifth in the shot put (12.17m).

Relays: The women's 4x100m relay team of R. Bielinski, S. Davis, L. Delaney, and P. Kandrach finished first with a time of 59.50.
Prior to Saturday's event WLU honored four senior members of the program Morgan Lesnansky, Julius Hobbs, BriJaun Baylor and Katie Hill.Â
