WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's golf team is set to compete in the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Spring Classic on Monday and Tuesday at Berry Hills Country Club in Charleston, W.Va.
The Hilltoppers kicked off their spring season with a sixth-place finish at the D&E Battle at Brunswick, held March 7-8 at Brunswick Plantation & Golf Resort. West Liberty posted a team score of +61 over the three-round event, with Brogan Bennett leading the way in 13th place at +11. Justin Doerr followed with a 23rd-place finish at +16.
West Liberty's lineup for the MEC Spring Classic includes Bennett, Doerr, Eirik Lindholm, Jayson Beckner, and Noah Seivertson. Awethu Mkhwanazi and Tyler Sauric will compete as independents.
Tee times for the tournament begin at noon on Monday.
