West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's and women's track teams kick off their outdoor season on Friday at the Marty Pushkin Invitational, hosted by West Virginia University at Mylan Park.
The Hilltoppers enter the spring season with momentum after an outstanding indoor campaign, highlighted by two national qualifiers. Hunter Patterson and Ky'Ara Ross both earned spots at the NCAA National Championships, with Patterson securing All-American honors by placing seventh in the 60-meter dash.
Following this weekend's meet, West Liberty will host the Tim Weaver Invitational next Friday and Saturday at the West Family Athletic Complex.
