WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University acrobatics and tumbling team put forth a determined effort in their home tri-match against Glenville State and No. 6 Fairmont State on Sunday at the ASRC.
Compulsory Event
The Hilltoppers opened the meet with a 33.000 total score in the Compulsory Event, finishing behind Fairmont State (36.000) and Glenville State (34.800). Their best performance came in the Pyramid Heat, where they posted a 9.550, the highest score of any team in that heat. The Toss Heat was also a highlight, with WLU matching Fairmont State's 9.650 for the top score.

Acro Event
In the Acro Event, West Liberty earned a 25.400 total, finishing behind Fairmont State (28.100) and Glenville State (26.950). The 7-Element Acro Heat was WLU's strongest performance in this event, where they posted a 9.400.

Pyramid Event
The Pyramid Event proved to be one of West Liberty's strongest of the day. They finished with a 26.350 total score, behind Fairmont State (29.050) and Glenville State (29.000). The Open Pyramid Heat saw the Hilltoppers tie Fairmont State for the best score with a 9.750.

Toss Event
West Liberty finished the Toss Event with a 24.000 total, placing behind Fairmont State (27.500) and Glenville State (26.200). Their 8.450 in the 450 Salto Heat was their top mark, showing solid execution and control in the skill-based category.

Tumbling Event
In the Tumbling Event, West Liberty totaled 47.500 points, finishing behind Fairmont State (51.275) and ahead of Glenville State (45.550). The Aerial Pass was the highlight, with WLU posting a 9.275, just behind Fairmont State's 9.375.

Team Event & Final Scores
The Hilltoppers closed the meet in the Team Event, earning a 76.710, while Fairmont State posted 92.960 and Glenville State recorded 82.060.
