BEREA, Ohio – West Liberty University redshirt freshman Oliver Byerly dominated the 174-pound weight class, claiming the championship title at the John Summa Invitational on Saturday at Baldwin Wallace. Six other Hilltoppers also earned podium finishes.

Byerly went 4-0 on the day, showcasing his dominance with:

• A first-round fall in just 45 seconds

• A 17-2 tech fall victory in his second match

• A semifinal pin at 2:25

• A commanding 20-8 major decision over Tyler Bodovetz (Ohio Wesleyan) in the championship bout
