Geneva, Ohio – West Liberty University's Hunter Patterson and Isaac Tavo made history Saturday at the Spire Collegiate Indoor Games, setting school records while also earning NCAA provisional marks.
Patterson Dominates the Sprints
Patterson continued his stellar indoor season by breaking the school record in the 200m dash with a blazing time of 21.46 seconds, a mark that meets NCAA provisional standards. He also secured victory in the 60m dash, clocking in at 6.76 seconds.
Tavo's Record-Setting Performance in the Throws
Tavo etched his name in the record books with a program-best shot put throw of 16.42m, also an NCAA provisional distance. He added a 10th-place finish in the weighted throw with a mark of 14.23m.

Lanham Leads Women's Performances
On the women's side, Sierra Lanham took first place in the long jump with a top leap of 5.61m, while teammate Ky'Ara Ross placed 6th at 5.45m.

Ross also shined in the 200m dash, finishing second in 25.32 seconds, while Lanham placed ninth at 25.95.

In the throws, Sierra Davis was 11th in the weighted throw (14.06m), while Pam Kandrach was 12th at 14.01m.

Kandrach also finished 13th in the shot put (11.43m), with Davis placing 15th (11.09m).
