No. 14 West Liberty Men’s Basketball Looks to Stay Hot at Charleston

West Liberty, W.Va. – The No. 14 West Liberty University men's basketball team is riding a four-game winning streak and looks to keep the momentum going Saturday night with a Mountain East Conference showdown at the University of Charleston. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. inside the Wehrle Innovation Center.

Hilltoppers on Fire

West Liberty (16-3, 10-2 MEC) has been red-hot offensively, averaging 108 points per game over its last four contests. In their most recent outing, the Hilltoppers dominated West Virginia State 118-76, with Kameron Tinsley and JJ Harper leading the charge with 22 points apiece.

MEC Standings Heating Up

The Hilltoppers enter the weekend tied for first place in the MEC with Fairmont State, with just nine regular-season games remaining. Meanwhile, Charleston (11-7, 8-4 MEC) sits two games back, making this a crucial contest in the conference race.
