Ashland, Ohio – Hunter Patterson delivered an impressive performance at the Ashland Invitational on Saturday, hosted at the Niss Athletic Center, leading a strong showing for the West Liberty University track and field teams.

Patterson claimed second place in both the 60m and 200m dash events. He clocked a blazing 6.81 in the 60m and followed it with a 21.77 in the 200m both school records, continuing his standout season.

Men's Highlights

• Isaac Tavo: Secured second place in the shot put with a throw of 16.31m, a school record and added an eighth-place finish in the weight throw (15.41m).

• Connor Gribble: Placed fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.89m.

• Bri'Jaun Baylor: Finished seventh in the triple jump (12.56m).

• Andrew King: Earned eighth place in the triple jump (12.20m).

Women's Highlights

• Ky'Ara Ross: Took seventh in the 60m dash (7.76) a new school record and added a fifth-place finish in the long jump (5.47m).

• Sierra Lanham: Delivered a strong performance in the long jump, finishing fourth with a top leap of 5.51m.

The Hilltoppers will return to action next Friday and Saturday at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational, where they look to build on their momentum.
