Glenville, W.Va. – The No. 10-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team celebrated a milestone victory on Saturday with a 103-96 win at Glenville State. The triumph marked the 200th career win for head coach Ben Howlett, making him the fastest coach in program history to reach the mark.
Now boasting a career record of 200-35 (.851 winning percentage), Howlett remains undefeated against Glenville State with a 16-0 record. The Hilltoppers improved to 13-3 overall and 7-2 in the Mountain East Conference (MEC), while the Pioneers fell to 9-7 overall and 4-5 in MEC play.

West Liberty built a 17-point lead in the second half, but Glenville State clawed back to tie the game at 65 with 9:56 remaining. The Pioneers briefly took a 71-69 lead at the 8:54 mark, but a clutch three-pointer from Vadim Clanet on the next possession put the Hilltoppers back on top for good.
