WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's soccer team remained close throughout in their season opening match against Seton Hill (Pa.) University, however the Griffins topped the Hilltoppers 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon. The Hilltopper defense faced 17 Griffin shot attempts, including six shot-on-goal attempts, but the lone goal of the game was scored in the 37th minute of the first half off a Corynna Rotoli pass that found Jessica Molitoris who drove the ball through the right side of the net.
