Prior to West Liberty: Four year starter at Division III Colby-Sawyer (NH)... Two time GNAC All-Conference selection and two time CSC Academic All-District selection... Tallied 17 goals and nine assists in her time at Colby-Sawyer.

Prep: Three year starter and one year captain for Combat Regional HS (NH).

Off the Field: Kara is the daughter of Patricia Vargas and Carl Keiper. She is currently working towards her Master's of Business Administration.
