Institute, W.Va. - Turnovers doomed the West Liberty football team Saturday night in their 57-37 loss to W.Va. State. The Toppers lost a pair of fumbles and threw three interceptions, one that was returned for a touchdown. With the loss the Toppers slip to 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in conference play. Junior receiver Ben Turner had an outstanding performance with a career-high 207 yards and a touchdown, he also threw a 44-yard touchdown pass.
