West Liberty Football Tabbed Eighth in 2024 Coaches’ Poll

Bridgeport, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced the 2024 MEC Football Preseason Coaches' Poll on Monday afternoon with the West Liberty University football team selected eighth by leagues' coaches. With a total of six first place votes and 77 total points, the Golden Eagles of Charleston were picked leagues favorite followed by UNC-Pembroke and Frostburg State.

Under the lights at West Family Stadium, West Liberty will kick off the 2024 season on the hilltop with a non-conference match-up against Walsh University (Ohio). Kickoff is set 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 29.
