Lewisburg, Pa. – A pair of West Liberty University men's track & field distance runners were in action on Sunday afternoon as they wrapped up the final day of competition at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
Tavian Richardson and
Francis Toohey both competed in the 800m run at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium, posting top-8 finishes in their respective heats.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tavian Richardson led the West Liberty distance runners in the 800m run, crossing the line in a time of 1:54.35 for a sixth place finish in his heat and 50th overall.
- Francis Toohey also competed in the 800m run, posting a time of 1:55.84 for an eighth place finish in his heat and 100th overall.
UP NEXT
With a busy weekend ahead, the action will start with West Liberty athletes making an appearance at the John Papa Invitational, hosted by Slippery Rock University. The meet will get underway at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium at 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.
