New Orleans, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-Region recipients on Tuesday afternoon, which included a trio of West Liberty University athletes selected. Earning All-Atlantic Region accolades for the Hilltoppers included Mikhi Anderson in the 60m hurdles and the high jump, John Brown in the weight throw, and Ky'Ara Ross in the long jump. To receive All-Region honors an athlete must be within the top-5 of their respective events performance list in the region.

Anderson was top-5 in the Atlantic Region with a pair of NCAA Division II Provisional marks in the indoor track & field season. In the 60m hurdles he was third with a time of 8.00 at the Ashland Invitational on January 20, and in the high jump he was fourth with a mark of 2.03m (6' 7.75") at the MEC Championships on February 24. He holds the school record in both of the previously mentioned events, including the meet record at the MEC Championships in the high jump. He won the conference title in the high jump and posted a second place finish in the 60m hurdles. Anderson ranked 24^th nationally in the 60m hurdles and was 54^th in the high jump. He recorded six top-5 finishes in the 60m hurdles with wins in the event at the Mount Union Toy Drive Invite on December 3, 2023, and the Muskie Meet #3 on January 27, 2024, while also earning two top-5 finishes in the high jump which included winning the MEC title.

John Brown ranked fifth in the weight throw in the Atlantic Region this year, posting a mark of 16.86m (55' 3.75") at the MEC Championships on February 16. His mark clinched a second place finish at the conference championships and set a new personal best throw in the event. During the 2023-24 indoor season he notched three top-5 finishes in the weight throw, which included a victory in the event at the Muskie Meet #1 on January 13.

Ky'Ara Ross ranked fourth in the long jump in the Atlantic Region this year, posting a mark of 5.63m (18' 5.75") at the MEC Championships on February 16. During her freshman campaign she set the school long jump record on two occasions, in the season opener at the YSU Icebreaker and once again at the MEC Championships where she also clinched a conference title and MEC meet record. In the event she recorded five top top-5 finishes throughout the season and earned one win in the event.
