Ty McGeary, the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the 184 pound weight class, currently sits in second in the initial release of the 2023-24 NCAA Division II Most Dominant Wrestler award standings.
McGeary, who is currently 24-0 this season, has posted a total of 16 bonus point victories this year with seven wins by fall, six tech falls, and three major decisions. With the point system for the Most Dominant Wrestler standings being calculated by adding the total number of team points awarded through match results and dividing the number by the total amount of matches wrestled, he is currently at an average of 5.11. The NCAA Division II leader, Scott Joll of UNC Pembroke has an average of 5.33 and Isaiah Vance of Pitt-Johnstown is third with an average of 4.89.
