Indianapolis, Ind. – The NCAA released their fourth edition of award standings on Wednesday morning, with West Liberty's Ty McGeary appearing in two stat categories. The No. 1 ranked wrestler at 184 pounds in NCAA Division II remained second in the Most Dominant Wrestler award standings while also ranking eighth among DII's falls leaders.

Overall, McGeary is currently 26-0 this season and has posted a total of 19 bonus point victories this year with ten wins by fall, six tech falls, and three major decisions. When breaking down the results against only DII opponents that will count towards the award standings, he is 22-0 with nine wins by fall, six tech falls, and two major decisions. The point system for the Most Dominant Wrestler award is calculated by adding the total number of team points awarded through those match results and dividing the number by the total amount of matches wrestled. McGeary currently sits with an average of 5.24, while the NCAA Division II leader, Scott Joll of UNC Pembroke has an average of 5.43 and Isaiah Vance of Pitt-Johnstown is third with an average of 4.91.
