Staten Island, N.Y. – In one final effort to reach or better NCAA Provisional marks prior to the selections for the national championships, a trio of athletes made the trip to the Fastrack Last Chance Meet held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Highlighted by a win by
Reese Burnside, who matched his school record jump in the pole vault, all three competing athletes notched top-5 finishes in their events on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED – WLU MEN'S TRACK & FIELD
- Reese Burnside won the pole vault competition with a mark of 4.80m (15' 9"), matching his school record and NCAA Provisional mark set in the season opening meet in Youngstown back in December.
HOW IT HAPPENED – WLU WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD
- Ky'Ara Ross and Sierra Lanham finished second and fourth in the long jump with marks of 5.60m (18' 4.5") and 5.48m (17' 11.75") respectively.Â

Mikhi Anderson and
Reese Burnside) who have notched NCAA Provisional marks during 2023-24 indoor season, and they will await the selections for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas, on March 9-10.
