Alliance, Ohio - The West Liberty University men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Mount Union Toy Drive Invite.
On the women's side a pair of Toppers had second place finishes. Pamela Kandrach had the second best throw in the shot put at 12.97m, her teammates Sierra Davis was eighth at 11.55m and Haley Norris was tenth at 10.76m.
Marissa Scott had the second fastest time in 60m hurdles at 9.67, she was also 11th in pole vault at 2.51m.
Jillian Huffman was eighth in the high jump at 1.47m
On the men's side, Issac Tavo was second (14.25m) and Izack Messer was fifth (13.78) in the weight throw.
Jacob Huffman was ninth in the 60m hurdles 9.83, he was also ninth in the high jump at 1.72m, Shane Anderson tied him for ninth also at 1.72m.
The Toppers will return to action Jan. 18 in the Muskie Meet at Muskingum University.
