Four West Liberty Volleyball Players Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

West Liberty, W.Va. — Four standout members of the West Liberty University women's volleyball team have been named to the prestigious College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team: Ashley Cudnik, Riley Cudnik, Isabella Dart, and Grace Hill.

Highlighting the recognition, Riley Cudnik has been selected as a CSC Academic All-America Finalist. The first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on January 14, 2025.

Academic and Athletic Excellence

Ashley Cudnik, a pre-professional speech pathology and audiology major, carries a remarkable 4.0 GPA. She led the team in points (305) and was second in kills (256).

Riley Cudnik, an exercise physiology major with a 3.83 GPA, earned a spot on the All-MEC First Team. The senior middle blocker/outside hitter from Canal Fulton, Ohio, delivered an exceptional season. She led the Mountain East Conference (MEC) in total blocks (129) and blocks per set (1.19), while also posting a stellar .333 hitting percentage — ranking third in the MEC.

A critical force for the Hilltoppers, Riley finished second on the team in total points (283.5) and third in kills (208). Her defensive dominance was showcased in three matches where she recorded 10 blocks each.

Isabella Dart, a junior defensive specialist/libero from Avon, Ind., is pursuing a degree in dental hygiene and boasts a 3.79 GPA. Dart earned All-MEC Honorable Mention after leading the team in digs (294) and digs per set (3.38), ranking ninth and eighth in the MEC, respectively.

Grace Hill, a junior middle blocker from East Liverpool, Ohio, holds an impressive 3.84 GPA as an elementary education major. Also earning All-MEC Honorable Mention, Hill was second on the team in blocks (75) and contributed 115 kills and 174 points.
