Lexington, Ky. – The postseason accolades are continuing to flow in once again for West Liberty University libero, Nyia Setla, as she has been named First Team All-Atlantic Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for the second consecutive year.

As an all-region performer, she has consistently been one of the top liberos in NCAA Division II. At the conclusion of the regular season, she ranked second in the MEC in both total digs (573) and digs per set (5.03) while ranking 19th and 32nd nationally, among other athletes in the Atlantic Region her stats ranked third and eighth respectively. She recorded double digit digs in 29-of-30 matches this season and had 13 games with 20 or more digs. Earlier this season Setla became only the third player in program history to reach the 2,000 career dig mark, doing so in a win at Salem on October 3rd. She has also added 110 assists (0.96 assists per set) and 37 service aces (0.32 aces per set) this year.
