SALEM, W.Va. - The West Liberty University volleyball team picked up its 10th win of the year with a 3-0 rout of Salem this evening in its last non-conference road match.

The Hilltoppers only allowed 35 points to the Tigers in the three-set dominating win. Sets one and two were won by identical scores of 25-8 and the 'Toppers closed it out with a 25-19 victory.

Defensively, West Liberty kept Salem at a zero or lower hitting percentage in all three sets. Offensively, the Hilltoppers hit .307 in the match including a .500 effort in the opening set.

Ruby Countryman led the attack for WLU with nine kills and Kirsten Bogunovich smacked eight. Haley Zeck was the leading setter for the Hilltoppers with 15 assists.

West Liberty will be right back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host Daemen at 2 pm inside the ASRC.
