NEW ORLEANS, La. - The West Liberty University men's cross country team has been ranked 10th in the latest edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Atlantic Regional Rankings, released today.
The Hilltoppers dropped three spots since the last rankings, but hold onto the final spot in the region as they continue to prepare for the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships next weekend (Nov. 19).
West Liberty is coming off a 4th place finish averaging a 28:28.23 at the Mountain East Conference Championships on Saturday.
The Atlantic Regional Championships are scheduled to begin at 11:30 am at the Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course in Mansfield, Pa. West Liberty ran the course earlier this season and finished in second at the Pre-Regional Meet on October 8.
