LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Senior Robert "Mack" Allen capped a stellar season by earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors to lead the West Liberty University men's cross country team at the 2025 NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Championships on Saturday morning at the West Branch Cross Country Course, hosted by Lock Haven University.

Allen finished 16th overall in the 10,000-meter race with a time of 31:26.80, securing his place among the region's elite runners and pacing the Hilltoppers to an impressive eighth-place team finish in a deep 22-team field.

Fellow seniors Jasper Brown and Francis Toohey closed out their careers with strong performances, finishing side by side in personal-best times. Brown clocked 32:18.20 for 42nd place, while Toohey was just a step behind in 43rd at 32:18.90.

Sophomore Zachary Workman placed 77th in 33:26.10, and freshman Michael Niggemyer rounded out West Liberty's scoring five with a 94th-place finish in 34:07.30. Freshmen Shepherd Richey (35:02.20) and Finlay Lorimer (35:30.70) also gained valuable experience in their first regional championship appearance.

Shippensburg captured the team title with 62 points, narrowly edging Charleston (60), while Fayetteville State's Brian Kiprop claimed the individual crown in 30:19.40.
