WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's tennis team closed out the regular season in style here Sunday with a 7-0 shutout of West Virginia Wesleyan.
Coach
Heather Gallagher's Hilltoppers got a 6-0 win from
Nathalia Valencia and Jacqueline Pena Aceves at No. 2 doubles while
Ishika Agarwal and Alex Olson claimed a 6-4 decision in the No. 3 slot to give West Liberty the doubles point.
The Black and Gold dominated singles play, sweeping all six matches in straight sets to complete the win.
The West Liberty women return to action on Saturday when they begin play in the Mountain East Conference Tournament in Charleston.
