Box Score 1     JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The West Liberty University baseball team broke out the brooms here Sunday afternoon, coming from behind in both games to sweep a non-conference doubleheader from Pitt-Johnstown by scores of 7-4 and 6-5 at sunny but cold Point Stadium.
    In the opener, Coach Eric Burkle's Hilltoppers (2-5) snapped a 4-4 tie with two runs in the top of the fifth and added an insurance tally in the seventh to notch their first win of the season.
    Ross Salvatori paced a 10-hit barrage for WLU with two singles and a double while Chad Matthus pounded out a pair of two baggers and chased home a run.
    Colton Coss added two singles and Brian Campbell stroked out a two-run triple while Jason Schutte and Sam Leach each singled and drove in a run.
    Ian Brady got the win on the mound with four innings of one-hit shutout relief, striking out five and not issuing a single walk.
    In the finale, the host Mountain Cats took a 5-1 lead into the fifth only to see WLU score three times to pull within striking distance at 5-4. The opportunistic visitors loaded the bases in the top of the seventh and took advantage of an error and a passed ball to bring home the tying and winning runs.
    Campbell swung a big bat again with a double and a single to drive in a run while Colton Coss added a pair of singles and Salvatori delivered a two-run single. Ty Helmke and Jarret Delbrugge each chipped in with RBI singles to go along with doubles from Schutte and David McKinney.
    The Hilltoppers won't hit the diamond again until March 20 when they travel to Glenville State for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
