WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Three members of the West Liberty University baseball team were recognized for their excellence both on the field and in the classroom as Mason Bille, Colby Conn and Luke Marsh were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Baseball Team.

The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes student-athletes for their combined achievements in competition and academics. Academic All-District honorees are selected based on their athletic accomplishments and success in the classroom and represent some of the top student-athletes in NCAA Division II baseball.

Leading the Hilltopper trio was senior right-handed pitcher Mason Bille. A native of North Canton, Ohio, Bille carries a 3.83 grade-point average while majoring in Exercise Physiology. The North Canton Hoover High School graduate was a key member of the West Liberty pitching staff throughout his career and capped his academic journey by earning CSC Academic All-District honors.

Junior right-handed pitcher Colby Conn also earned recognition. The Newark, Ohio native maintains a 3.52 GPA in Exercise Physiology. Conn has been a valuable contributor on the mound for the Hilltoppers while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics and academics.

Joining the pair was junior catcher Luke Marsh. The Wheeling Park product boasts a 3.77 GPA as an Exercise Physiology major. A Wheeling, W.Va. native, Marsh has been an important presence behind the plate and in the lineup while continuing to excel in the classroom.

The selection of Bille, Conn and Marsh highlights the commitment to academic excellence within the West Liberty baseball program. Their accomplishments reflect the dedication, discipline and work ethic required to succeed both in NCAA Division II competition and in the classroom.
