BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – West Liberty University soccer standout Grace Fodor received All-Mountain East Conference recognition on Tuesday when the league announced the Fall 2021 All-MEC Women's Soccer Team
    Fodor, a graduate student from Hilliard, Ohio who joined the WLU women's soccer program in the spring after a stellar four-year basketball career on the hilltop, was an honorable mention All-MEC selection in voting by the conference coaches.
    The speedy 5-8 defender also saw action in several matches as an attacking midfielder to help keep Coach Barry Christmas' Hilltoppers in post-season contention until the final week of the season.
    One of only two players to start all 18 matches this fall, Fodor was charted with 9 total shots and 3 shots on goal for the season in addition to playing a key role along the West Liberty back line.
    Yasmin Mosby of Concord repeated as the MEC Offensive Player of the Year with Mountain Lion teammate Morgan Carmichael taking MEC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Frostburg State's Cat Smith was MEC Freshman of the Year and Concord head man Luke Duffy was MEC Coach of the Year.
