GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The West Liberty University volleyball team got its weekend road swing off to a flying start here Friday night with a 3-0 sweep of Glenville State in a Mountain East Conference match at the Waco Center.

Riley Schenk's Hilltoppers (12-10, 3-3) took control from the start with a 25-17 win in the opening set and held off a late surge by the host Pioneers (1-10, 0-6) to claim a 25-22 nod in the second set. The third set was all West Liberty as the Black and Gold closed up shop with a 25-11 blowout.
Kirsten Bogunovich led the way for the visitors with 11 kills, 13 assists, 2 blocks and a service ace while hitting an impressive .526 from the floor.
Nina Billotto also had a strong match with 6 kills, a service ace and a match-high 4 blocks.
Laura Gamel had 19 assists,
Nyia Setla added a team-high 10 digs and
Jenna Caskey charted a match-high 4 service aces.
The Hilltoppers swing back into action quickly on Saturday with an 11 a.m. match at Concord.
