    INSTITUTE, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women will be trying to complete a season sweep on Thursday night when they head south to take on West Virginia State. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. inside the Walker Convocation Center.

    Coach Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (15-7, 12-4) rolled to a 100-74 win against WVSU at the ASRC last month and are coming off their sixth straight win, an 84-69 victory at Concord on Saturday that pulled the West Liberty women into a third place tie in the Mountain East Conference. Taylor Johnson had a game-high 24 points while Marissa Brown and Morgan Brunner added 18 and 14, respectively.
    The Yellow Jackets (5-17, 4-12) are also coming off a win, having snapped a 7-game losing streak with a 97-87 victory against W.Va. Wesleyan on Saturday Lyrin Hatcher's 18 points and 15 rebounds led the way for West Virginia State.
