WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University volleyball team dominated from start to finish here Friday night in sweeping a West Virginia State team that came into the ASRC unbeaten in Mountain East Conference play.

Kayla Mull's Hilltoppers (13-11, 5-4) opened up double-digit leads in all three sets in cruising to their third straight win, sweeping the Yellow Jackets (14-10, 7-1) by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-16.
Caitlin Clarke led all players with 10 kills for the Black and Gold while
Mackenzie Sims just missed a double-double with 9 kills and a team-high 14 digs.
Madison Clayton chimed in with 8 kills and a match-high 4 blocks while
Olivia Baumhoer and
Morgan Farley added 7 and 6 kills, respectively.
Renee Lemke had 21 assists and 7 digs while
Kendall Souder added 17 assists and 6 digs.
Jo Lyn Jurek backed Sims with a dozen digs in the back line.
The resurgent Hilltoppers will be idle this weekend but return to action on Nov. 1 when they host Frostburg State in a 7 p.m. match at the ASRC.
