BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The West Liberty University volleyball team got back to the .500 mark in impressive fashion here Saturday, rolling to a 3-0 victory against West Virginia Wesleyan in Mountain East Conference action at Rockefeller Arena.

Kayla Mull's Hilltoppers (11-11, 3-4) got off to a flying start with a 25-13 blowout in the opening set and scored the final five points of the second set to come from behind for a 25-21 win. A 9-1 West Liberty run midway through the third set helped the visitors finish off the sweep with a 25-14 decision.
Mackenzie Sims and
Madison Clayton led the way for the Black and Gold.
Madison Clayton had 7 kills, 3 blocks and a service ace while hitting .462 for the visitors while
Mackenzie Sims finished with 7 kills, a service ace and a .353 hitting percentage.
Renee Lemke made a run at a double-double with 14 assists and 8 digs while
Kailee Cunningham was charted with a team-high 10 digs.
The West Liberty women return home on Tuesday to host Charleston in a crucial MEC match. First serve is set for 6 p.m. at the ASRC.
