WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University football team welcomes Mountain East Conference rival Concord to West Family Stadium this afternoon as the highlight of Homecoming activities on a busy WLU campus. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
Coach
Roger Waialae's Hilltoppers (2-3, 2-3) are hoping to bounce back from a 39-29 road loss at West Virginia State a week ago while the winless Mountain Lions (0-5, 0-4) are on the rebound from a 38-14 non-conference setback at Hillsdale (Mich.).
This is the 78th installment of a series that kicked off all the way back in 1930. West Liberty and Concord have split the last 12 meetings with the Hilltoppers holding a slim 38-36-3 advantage over the years.
