Women's Volleyball | 5/15/2017 11:14:00 AM

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Kendall Souder, a 3-time All-Conference volleyball standout from Edgewood High School in Ellettsville, Ind., has signed to continue her athletic and academic careers at West Liberty University.
Souder made it official last month during a brief signing ceremony at her high school.
The 5-8 setter began her volleyball career at Shelby County High School in Shelbyville, Ky. Souder made an immediate impact, starting every game for the Lady Rockets as a freshman.
The Souder family moved to Ellettsville, about eight miles northwest of Bloomington, prior to her sophomore year and Souder picked up right where she had left off.
Stepping right into the starting lineup for the Lady Mustangs, she was a 3-time first-team All-Western Indiana Conference selection and was named to the Bloomington Herald-Times All-Area Team after her junior and senior seasons.
"Kendall has a great passion and intelligence for the game," West Liberty head coach Kayla Mull said. "She is driven to succeed and really works hard to learn as much as she can. Kendall is also an outstanding student so we're confident that she will be an excellent addition to our team and our university when she arrives on campus in the fall."
The daughter of Chuck and Rhonda Souder, Kendall plans to pursue a Chemistry major at West Liberty.
