FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The unbeaten West Liberty University women's tennis team barely  broke a sweat Wednesday afternoon in rolling past Fairmont State, 9-0, in a Mountain East Conference match on the Falcons' home courts.

Coach Heather Gallagher's Lady Hilltoppers (5-0, 3-0) took command early by sweeping all three doubles matches and followed that up by taking all six singles matches. Five West Liberty players didn't lose a single game in their singles matches.

Posting singles wins for the Black and Gold were reigning MEC Player of the Week Lauren Howard along with Emily Dawson, Raquel Cabero, Alex Barr, Kate Pinchuk and Andrea Puga. Dawson and Cabero picked up the win at No. 1 doubles with Howard and Pinchuk teaming up at No. 2 doubles. Barr and Alaina Pauley earned the win at No 3 doubles.

The West Liberty women step out of conference on Sunday with a noon match at Slippery Rock (Pa.).
