WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The unbeaten West Liberty University women's tennis team made short work of Fairmont State Thursday afternoon in a West Virginia Conference match at the Edgar Martin Tennis Complex.
Coach
Heather Gallagher's Hilltoppers (8-0, 6-0) rolled to a 9-0 whitewash of the visiting Falcons (2-3, 1-3). It was their sixth shutout in as many league matches.

Emily Dawson,
Alex Barr,
Zineb Houssaini and
Christina Pauley provided straight-set singles wins for the hosts. The doubles tandems of Howard and Wischi, Barr and Houssaini and Dawson and
Sarah Howells also remained unbeaten in WVIAC play.
The West Liberty women will be back in action this weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) regional event in Charleston.
