WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's tennis team continued its unbeaten run through the West Virginia Conference Monday afternoon with a 9-0 blanking of West Virginia Wesleyan at the Edgar Martin Tennis Complex.
    Coach Heather Gallagher's Hilltoppers (7-0, 5-0) lost only three games sweeping the three doubles matches and followed that up with straight-set wins in all six singles matches. The visiting Bobcats fell to 1-5 overall, 0-3 in league play.
    Lauren Howard, Raissa Wischi, Emily Dawson, Alex Barr, Zineb Houssaini and Christina Pauley were West Liberty's singles winners. Doubles wins came from the tandems of Howard and Wischi, Barr and Houssaini and Dawson and Sarah Howells.
    The West Liberty women host Fairmont State on Thursday in a 4 p.m. match at the Edgar Martin Tennis Complex.
