WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University wrestling team rolled to its third dual meet victory in as many outings Wednesday night with a 24-9 rout of Waynesburg (Pa.) in the Hilltoppers' home opener at the ASRC.
	Coach
Brian Davis's hosts, now 3-0 on the young season, won seven of the 10 matches on the night with a major decision and technical fall thrown in for good measure.

The Yellow Jackets, an NCAA Division III program which had defeated NCAA Division II No. 20 Shippensburg (Pa.) in a dual meet earlier this fall, got off to a good start with a decision at 125 pounds but it was all West Liberty the rest of the way.
Dillon Nolte knotted the score at 3-3 with a decision at 133 pounds and 141-pounder
Nick Wykoff put the hosts ahead to stay with a dominant performance, falling just short of a technical fall with a 16-2 major decision.

Art Hobley pushed the lead to 10-3 with a win at 149 pounds before the Yellowjackets came up with a decision at 157, keeping the visitors within reach on the short end of a 10-6 deficit.

	Jarrod Shaw and
Matt Littleton all but put the match out of reach with back-to-back wins for West Liberty at 165 and 174 pounds.

Cody Catalina charted a last-gasp win for Waynesburg at 184, cutting the lead to 16-9, but the Hilltoppers clinched the win with a Jacob Donley decision at 197 pounds and 285-pounder JD Ramsey finished with a flourish, pitching a 15-0 shutout for a technical fall in the final match of the night.
The West Liberty wrestlers go back on the road Saturday when they compete in the Ohio Northern Invitational at Ada, Ohio
