The West Liberty University women's tennis team stretched its winning streak to five on Saturday by heading south to pick up a pair of West Virginia Conference victories against Bluefield State and Concord.
Coach Heather Gallagher's Hilltoppers (7-4, 6-2) opened the day with a 9-0 romp at Bluefield State before making the short drive to Athens for a 6-3 victory against Concord in the afternoon.
West Liberty lost a total of just four games in the six singles and three doubles matches against the Big Blues (1-10, 1-8). Doubles wins on the court went to the tandems of Quintana/Windsor and Wischi/Prather with Poling and Saunder collecting a forfeit nod.
The Hilltoppers controlled the afternoon match at Concord (2-8, 2-6), as well, opening with wins in two of the three doubles matches and going on to take four singles decisions.
Wischi, Quintana, Windsor and Saunders were the singles winners with the doubles victories coming from Quintana/Windsor at No. 1 and Wischi/Prather at No. 2.
