    Assistant Wrestling Coach
    Nat Brown is heading into his second season as an assistant coach with the West Liberty University wrestling program.
    Brown made the short trek up the hill to WLU after serving as a team captain on Wheeling University’s  national runner-up squad at the 2019 NCAA Division II National Championships in Cleveland.
    A 4-year Cardinal letterman, Brown earned the 2019 Cardinal Culture Award – the top award bestowed by the WU coaching staff – and compiled more than 500 hours of community service during his time with the program.
    Brown was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association's official honorary society, and graduated from Wheeling with a degree in Professional Communication.
    Currently working for Home Town Appraisals, Brown resides in Flushing, Ohio.
 
    COACH IRWIN SAYS: Coach Brown was a great addition to our staff. It was a privilege to be his coach and it’s exciting to be able to work together to mold these young men and help them reach their goals. He has a lot to offer the program, but none more important than his character and mentorship.
