Travis Hinkle is beginning his sixth season as assistant volleyball coach at West Liberty University.
Hinkle is a West Liberty University graduate who began his coaching career as a student assistant with the Hilltoppers in 2006 and 2007.
After spending the 2008 season as an assistant volleyball coach at West Virginia Wesleyan, Hinkle came back to West Liberty to work as an Admissions Counselor in 2009 and rejoined WLU’s volleyball coaching staff in 2012.
In addition to his duties as Admissions Counselor, Hinkle serves as Chair of the West Liberty University Staff Council and is Webmaster for the West Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. He is also Vice President of Personal and Professional Development for the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
A graduate of Ravenswood (W.Va.) High School, Travis holds a degree in Business Administration and Sports Management from West Liberty. He resides in nearby Wellsburg, W.Va.
