Prior to WLU:
Spent one season at Converse University in Spartanburg, S.C........ Earned All-Conference Carolinas Third Team honors and was named Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month.... Also received Cum Laude Presidential Honor Roll recognition.... Played in 20 matches with 17 starts, totaling 57 sets.... Recorded 126.5 points, 102 kills, a .347 hitting percentage, six assists, nine digs and 38 total blocks.... Posted a season-high 12 kills against Barton on Oct. 24, 2025, and a season-high seven blocks against Belmont Abbey on Oct. 3, 2025.... Helped the Valkyries finish second in the Conference Carolinas standings.... Played under head coach Alexis Ivey.

High School:
Played at New Bremen High School in New Bremen, Ohio........ Three-year letterwinner and three-year starter at middle blocker.... Helped lead the Cardinals to back-to-back Ohio state championships in 2022 and 2023, along with three consecutive Midwest Athletic Conference championships from 2021-23.... Earned two Second Team All-MAC selections, two Second Team All-District honors, Honorable Mention All-District recognition and Honorable Mention All-Ohio accolades.... Finished her prep career with 436 kills, 131 blocks and a .533 hitting percentage.... Played under head coach Diana Kramer.

Off the Court:
Ava is the daughter of Randy and Gail Trentman.... She has three siblings, Shonda, Riley and Neven........ She is majoring in Marketing and Music.
