Prior to WLU:
Played one season at Multnomah University in Portland, Ore., and one season at Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio........ Started at both institutions.... Earned Dean's List honors during both her freshman and sophomore years.... At Lourdes in 2025, recorded 104 kills, 13 service aces and 122.0 points while averaging 2.03 points per set.

High School:
Played at University Laboratory School in Honolulu, Hawaii........ Helped lead the Junior Bows to the HHSAA Division II State Runner-Up finish.... Started two seasons on the varsity squad.... Earned Honor Roll recognition as both a junior and senior.... Competed for Strive HI Athletics club program for four years.

Off the Court:
Aleya is the daughter of Cher Kalama and Hugh Baptiste.... She has four siblings, Akahai, Rizen, Chayse and Kylie........ She is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
