West Liberty University Athletics

Ryan Pigott is a Student Assistant Coach for the West Liberty University women’s basketball program. He plays an integral part in the team’s daily operations and player development efforts. A senior Business major from Fairmont, West Virginia, Pigott is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and the son of Matt Pigott and Letitia Holcomb.

Pigott assists in managing the Hilltoppers’ day-to-day functions both on and off the court, helping coordinate practices, team logistics, and operational needs throughout the season. He contributes significantly to drill work and individual skill development, working closely with the coaching staff to enhance player performance and support the program’s fast-paced style of play.

In addition to his on-court responsibilities, Pigott oversees statistics and analytics, providing detailed breakdowns that assist coaches in game planning, scouting, and performance evaluation. He is also actively involved in the program’s summer camps, helping with instruction, organization, and outreach to young athletes.
