Max is the son of Eric and Michele Butler.... He has three brothers, Austin, Bryce and Landon........ His brother, Bryce, was a two-time NCAA Division II All-American and Atlantic Region Player of the Year at West Liberty, while his brother, Landon, is a member of the Hilltopper men's basketball team........ He is undecided on a major.
