West Liberty University Athletics

2024-25: Jillian was a member of the West Liberty University women's track and field and was on the Indoor 4x400m Relay Team that set a new school record (4:08.77) at MEC Indoor Championship on Feb. 24, 2025 at Marshall University.

High School: Three-sport athlete at nearby Wheeling Park High School… In basketball, 4-year letterman, 2-year starter, and captain, helping lead Wheeling Park to the 2023 WV Class AAAA state runner-up (junior, 24-4 record), and to the 2024 WV Class AAAA state championship (senior, 24-4 record)… As a senior, named WV All-State, All-OVAC, and All-Valley, led team in rebounding, averaging 8.2ppg, 6.2rpg, 36% 3-pt (30-83), with 4 double-doubles… In volleyball, 3-year starter and 2-year captain at the setter position, leading her team to a 19-13-1 record her senior season, racking up 1,819 career assists, 128 career blocks, 487 career digs, 221 career kills, voted as the OVAC Class AAAAA Player of the Year, WV All-State, and captain of the All-Valley Team… In track, a 3-year letterman, All-OVAC, All-Valley, placing at the West Virginia state meet in multiple events—high jump, 4x200m, and 4x100m.

Off the court: Jillian is the daughter of Dr. Aaron Huffman and Courtney Huffman, she has two brothers Jacob and Joshua. Her father is a Professor of Health and Physical Education and Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at WLU,  mother is a Professor of Dental Hygiene at WLU. She is majoring in Education.
